Understanding Server Load and when to upgrade

Hey all, I am watching our server usage and has some questions about when to upgrade. Right now we run all our data storage on the local system, but we plan to change the user data store to Amazon so we can cut down on storage costs when we hit that wall. When looking at the Server Load and Memory Usage, at what level of usage should I expect to upgrade?

500 the files Internal Server Error

htacces file is causing Server Error 500 Internal Server Error with a fresh instal just by uploading the files .

Recent htaccess -ExecCGI breaks installer on my server

" -ExecCGI " in the htaccess breaks something with my server setup. I get 403 Forbidden for anything in the directory or below. What does having this in the htaccess do? Any ideas if there is anything I should change in my server config? Thanks

Upcoming Hosting Maintenance - server reboots required

We've just received notification from our hosting provider (Linode) that there is maintenance scheduled on all of our servers to patch 5 critical XEN vulnerabilities (this is the software that runs the servers). These vulnerabilities are going to be "released" on March 10th, so Linode is taking care of this patching before it becomes public (which is a good thing). There is no action needed on your part, but there will be a reboot of your server during the assigned maintenance window....

Having trouble to login admin after server issues

When trying to login I get this message on a white screen:- unable to copy modules/jrChat/templates/chat.tpl to template cache directory: data/cache/jrCore I have had my site down for three days due to issues with godaddy and nameservers . The site is up again now that they have allowed nameservers but I cannot login.

I'm using the shoutcast broadcast service at jbservers.net DJ tells me the JR5 version does not support this fantastic function. Can something be done about this to keep the function with JR5
